I did have to reassignd a bunch after the patch a couple of days ago and this may have been one of them. My config actually looks like two axis, even though combined pedals *was set to on. If that doesn't work, turn off combined pedals and try again. Just make sure the device= number matches up with other inputs for your wheel. You could manually edit your config to include the axis 5 for brake and 6 for gas. My inbutBindings*.xml file has the following lines for brake and accelerate:
